Burst my bubble :(

Collin Paris Resultime - Hydratant hydrating tinted face cream

I was looking for a tinted moisturiser to replace my matte finish BB cream which was drying my skin out.

I have a background in the hair and beauty industry and one of the salons I worked for was a Collin Paris appointed salon and I loved the product range as the products were so luxurious and left my skin radiant. So when I stumbled across Collins tinted cream I was excited to try it after using their products many years ago.

So I placed the order and embarked on my own little research project to see what Collins claims were for their Hydratant hydrating tinted face cream.

Collin claimed that their hydrating cream was tinted with mineral pigment which will offer a light and natural makeup look with the benefits of an anti-ageing formula the cream also contains a high concentration of hyloronic acid which provides the skin with continuous moisture and to help combat the signs of premature ageing. Collin also state that the cream contains vectorised micro-collegen which helps to boost cell and tissue metabolism. The cream does also contain sunscreen ( unfortunately Collin do not tell you at what level or factor the sunscreen is ) and vitamin E which is a anti oxidant and helps to protect your skin from harsh external factors.

The cream arrived and I was excited to see if the cream would live up to its claims, and to see if Collin the company deserved the place on the pedestal which I placed them on many years before.

At first I was a little shocked at the colour and wondering how I was going to  blend the colour to achieve a natural glow. I also had visions of a 5ft 5 Oompa Loompa looking back at me through the mirror. But I was pleasantly surprised how easy the cream was to blend in and how it left my skin with a natural and healthy glow.

My skin felt velvety and soft whilst using the cream luckily I was looking for sheer coverage as that is exactly what you get with this product.  Collin do claim that the product is buildable to achieve a more full coverage, I tend to disagree with this claim as the product becomes too cakey if applied more than once.
So if you're looking for a full coverage than this product isn't for you.

I also applied the product in a few different ways e.g using my fingers, using a beauty blender and using a foundation brush and the best way to apply this product in my opinion is using your fingers as this method seemed to blend the product in better.

Will I buy this product again? Maybe, yes for the skincare properties as my skin looked amazing after using the product and didn't cause any breakouts but no for a tinted moisturiser as there are definitely better products on the market that do exactly the same thing or even better.

But for such a low price of £3.99 for 50ml the Collin Paris Resultime Hydratant hydrating tinted face cream was definitely worth giving it a go.

But unfortunately this product has knocked them of the pedestal and definitely burst my bubble regarding Collin products .
