July YAY :) product of the month

Dr Organic - Snail Gel (Helix Aspersia Muller) £19.99 50ml

I received this product in a monthly subscription box, and I'm not going to lie I was a little freaked out and squeamish about the thought of putting snail gunk on my face.

This is what Dr Organic say about their snail gel. The gel has a range of remarkable anti-ageing properties and clinical tests of helix adpersia muller have shown that it contains a special balance of beneficial components such as collagen, glycolic acid, elastin, vitamins and minerals.

The snail secretions are collected from glass panels that the snails are able to roam freely. The secretions are then collected, filtered and then concentrated by vacuum evaporation to reduce the water content.

I was really surprised at how this product really improved the texture of my skin, once I had gotten over the whole drama of putting snail goo on my face.

I have been using this product for over a month now and was amazed how brilliant this product was at cooling and healing the skin after a wet shave ( so a definite must have for the lads who wet shave ).

But my biggest surprised was how hydrated my skin looked and felt after using this product.

Dr Organic snail gel has definately won a place in my daily skincare routine and is here to stay .

July NAY :( product of the month 👎🏻

The Organic Pharmacy - Rose Cleansing Gel £45.96 100ml

I had the chance to sample this cleansing gel but sadly it left me feeling a little disappointed .

The fragrance of the gel is absolutely heavenly. But in my opinion feel that The Organic Pharmacy are charging way too much for this product for what it does as I like to feel that the cleanser has actually cleansed my skin.

This is what is said about the product, "The Rose Facial Gel gentle cleanses the face and leaves your skin refreshed" gentle cleanse is an understatement I felt as if I had just washed my face with nothing but water and had to cleanse my face with my usual cleanser.

There are definitely better products on the market that actually cleanse your skin with a much lower price tag. Could I justify spending £45.96 just for the smell because unfortunately that is all you get from this product.

The Rose Facial Cleansing Gel will not be making its way into my daily skincare routine. But on the upside The Organic Pharmacy as a product range isn't a total loss as their anti-oxidant lip balm is incredible at £14.40 and  will definitely be making its way into my daily routine.

My 20+ years in the hair and beauty industry has definately taught me to not write of the whole company just because of one product in their range.
